Why Animal Lovers Should Read and Watch “A Dog’s Purpose”

It feels truly wonderful to read books as you find pleasure, makes you happy and keeps you sane. You can turn it into a hobby you can do anywhere, anytime of the year, regardless of what weather.

You surely want to find new and interesting books to read. It doesn’t matter what genre it is; however, you are most drawn to romantic and heartfelt books as you can feel more emotions rather than what fiction novel or drama can give.

Many of us want to travel locally or abroad. It is another hobby you will want to experience and pair it with a book. It is easy to find popular bookstores that sell exciting books to delve in while traveling.

To narrow down your options, you may decide to buy the book “A Dog’s Purpose” by Bruce W. Cameron. This book can create an impact especially if you own a dog and lose him for several times.

Sometimes, you can use this novel as a great gift to give for friends who love dogs. This novel was written in 2010, and is not only persuasive, but full of emotions.

Animal lovers would greatly love to read the book. One can enjoy and experience the ups and downs of the pooch Toby, Bailey and all the other incarnations of this well-loved dog.

The novel is written full of love and emotion; however, no instance of being sentimental was ever noticed.

It focuses more on the bad side of how humans treat their most loyal and faithful pets. It features how the dog stays in his master’s backyard and includes its abandonment.

The main purpose for breeding dogs is for humans to experience closer companionship with them. Here, you can view the real purpose of the existence of a dog, which is to live and love, and for humans to love them back.

Preview of the Storyline: The story begins with the birth of a wild puppy named Toby. His life is wild, rough and fearful, until his first masters capture him.

Featured in the story is how the dog is shown love for the very first time. He is first introduced to humans, and becomes closer to them. However, his existence as a pooch is short-lived, till his rebirth to a backyard breeder.

In his experience of new life with the backyard breeder, he finds his way as a companion to a boy named Ethan. He is named Bailey, and both friends grow up together, and become more inseparable with each other.

They share many life-changing adventures – some are exciting, others alarming. However, as dogs grow older and faster than humans, Bailey dies and has another chance to be reborn to another master.

His next life is being a rescue dog. In his every incarnation, the pooch friend becomes better as he learns to improve so many things including his talents and skills.

Each time he transfers to another dog’s body, he tends to fulfill his real reason of existence – to love, protect and serve.

Review: The storyline is relatively simple, which corresponds to the canine narrator. It makes us understand human behavior towards animals.

The pets included in the story communicate exactly like animals should behave: their body language, scent and other attitudes, without including direct speech.

Humans talk to their faithful friends with the canine understanding a small part of what was spoken.

As an emotional person, you will love to say there really is no conflict between humans and canines.

In the book, you are entertained with various stories that initiate varied emotions such as being happy, sad, in love, showing compassion, and experiencing adventure.

I think this is the real purpose of the novel. If you ever think about it, you can see that there are lots of people owning a dog as their pet.

They try to talk to them, pet them, kiss them, and even rub their stomachs till they knock off to sleep.

They do so much for their pet in the same way the dogs do so much for their masters. Dogs make great company as they ensure their masters are happy with them most of the time.

The story “A Dog’s Purpose” tells us that our pet has a specific purpose in life. This book tells us why our pets are really important.

Between love and loss, this book shows the unbreakable bonds shared between a variety of dogs and their owners.

This book is highly recommended for reading to all those who love animals. You will love it as it gives so much inspiration.

You can have all kids coming out to rescue a needy animal just waiting to find home. A movie had been featured last January 2017, which assured the same heartfelt storyline.

The movie “A Dog’s Purpose” was a comedy-drama film directed by Lasse Hallstrom. The film’s stars included Josh Gad, Dennis Quaid, Britt Robertson, Juliet Rylance, KJ Apa, Peggy Lipton, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and John Ortiz.

The film was co-produced by Amblin Entertainment, Walden Media, Reliance Entertainment and Pariah Entertainment Group. Universal Pictures released the movie with revenues of $193 million globally.
